Our Service Delivery

Our therapists work directly with children and families, providing hands on therapy, as well as education and upskilling. This support also extends to collaborating with educators and other key networks involved in the child's care. Therapy sessions and support is delivered in a variety of different settings, which is dependent on the needs and goals of the child and their family.

Following an initial assessment, families are provided with various options regarding how they would like to proceed with services and which therapy setting would be most appropriate to meet their child's intended goals. Services can include the completion of reports and supportive documentation, regular hands-on therapy and consistent liaison with key supports.

Our initial process

All clients initiating services at Nurturing Nature are required to participate in an initial assessment. This will generally involve an initial interview, observations, general rapport building, as well as formal and informal assessment tasks where required.

The initial consultations are structured to help the therapist understand your  child's needs and build rapport with both the child and the family. This  approach facilitates effective planning, ensuring a more accurate  understanding of your child's developmental skill level. This information informs goal-setting and potential plans for ongoing therapy if needed.
