Shauna has experience working with:
· Preschool and school aged children (3-15 years)
· Children with a diagnosis of Autism, ADHD, Intellectual Disability, Global Developmental Delay
· Children and families to promote engagement and independence in their communication abilities.
· Children and educators to identify and support with strategies in the classroom setting.
Shauna is our Senior Speech Pathologist at Nurturing Nature. Shauna graduated from Flinders University in 2016 with a Master of Speech Pathology following a Bachelor of Health Science at the University of South Australia.
With 9 years of experience in paediatric private practice, Shauna is passionate about delivering client-focused therapy that is both effective and engaging. She prides herself on seeing the child behind the disability, recognising each child’s unique strengths and using them as a foundation to support their development. Known for her friendly, fun, and sometimes delightfully silly approach, Shauna always balances this with a strong sense of professionalism.
She has extensive experience working in schools and has played a key role in supervising and supporting university students during clinical placements.
Shauna is currently offering mobile therapy services to clients located in the North and North-Eastern suburbs of Adelaide.
When not at work, Shauna enjoys:
